Which is the most effective pain killer for sore teeth from braces?

OTC Meds: Unfortunately, as teeth move during orthodontic treatment, there is some discomfort. I would suggest taking an over the counter med as tolerated. Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen and Aspirin are some options.

Othodontic pain: Any over the counter pain medication should work just fine. After a few days following the placement or adjustment of the braces the pain should subside on its own as the teeth adjust to their new position.
