Wrong crowd.: Sadly, many young men and women lose their teeth early and end up with dentures. Often affordability , socio-economic issues influence this. Many medications dry out the mouth leading to accelerated decay and tooth loss. (anti-depression/anxiety very common). Poor, carbohydrate rich diet, poor hygiene, lack of routine cleanings/care -- all contributing factors.Best treatment = implants, but most $.

Men, too: Not gender specific. Many people are forgoing healthcare due to poor education regarding prevention, apathy, or economic constraints. Ignore your teeth and they'll go away... That's what i "drill" into my patients. By the time they realize the disaster their mouths are in, it's too late.
