Contact : Contact your state dental society (not dental board) to see if there are any programs available in your state. Dental schools may also be an option.

Yes : Yes there is help for you.....You obviously can get online and find our blog. Go back online and type in the search bar free medical and dental clinics florida. You will find a list of cities that come up with discounted or free dental care. I am not sure where fort pierce, florida is, but I am assured one of these cities is close to you. There is a group called project dentists care, which is a state wide organization in florida supported by the dental health foundation in florida. They provide low cost and free dental care. Please look into these sites and they will guide you in the right direction. Dental care and medical care should be a right in this country and not a service that is provided to only those that can afford it.

These : These are always sad questions to answer, because there is that sense that dentistry should be available somewhere at next to nothing for someone in your situation. Doctors funari and zweig have already given good answers. I want to address the question from a different perspective. When dentists try to replace the missing teeth and restore both function and aesthetics to our patients we are applying the art and experience we have gained during years of training and then years of experience and we try to provide each patient with the best result of which we are capable. That costs money. Social security is an oxymoron, there is nothing socially secure about it, and you certainly can not afford to buy a good set of teeth for anything less than three months worth of checks. It is time that we woke up in the country and realized that we have been duped. We are paying far too much to the government in taxes to provide inferior quality service which the folks who are worst of believe they will receive as an entitlement. That entitlement does not exists. I suggest you call around a few dentists and ask their advice, and include the local dental society. Explain your position and see if some one can arrange a generous discount. Best wishes dr. Neil mcleod dds dentistryn that lasts - qualitynthat counts.

When : When medicare was passed during lbjs administration, dental care was specifically excluded. There are no government programs that provide dental benefits for seniors.
