TMJ\muscles: It sounds like muscle pain, possibly related to a tmjoint issue as a result of your jaw being open wide for a period of time. Take some nsaids is you can, soft diet, warm wet compresses to the areas affected. Call your dentist for further help and evaluation if it worsens or persists for more than a few days.
