A member asked:

Is blood in my urine related to a traumatic broken rib?

Probably not: If you have severe trauma (enough to break rib) you could also have a contused (bruised) kidney, which could then bleed. But a broken rib alone (especially if it is high up) would not cause blood in urine. Usually, trauma severe enough to cause blood in urine results in hospitalization.

Can be.: The trauma that caused a fractured rib can result in blood in the urine, often from a kidney injury. The kidneys are protected by the lower 3 ribs and can sustain bruises or other injuries.

Unlikely: There aren't any reports of kidney injuries after rib fractures. That being said you should still be evaluated by a doctor in order to figure why you have blood in your urine.
