Normal: Having a blood clot in the site of the extraction is normal and help with healing. It should go away with time and i would suggest leaving it alone. If you have a blood clot somewhere else, see your physician.

Healing: The blood clot at the extraction site is a normal part of healthy healing. You need it to heal the extraction site . Do not disturb it. It will go away as the area heals. Loosing this blood clot too soon can cause very painful healing complication called a dry socket.
