Oh my gosh!!!: When baking soda is used straight - it acts as an abrasive and can wear down enamel on your teeth. Lemons contain citric acid which can eat away at teeth. Would not recommend doing this.

Sand + Acid: Baking soda is abrasive (like sand), and lemons are very acidic, the very thing that dissolves enamel. Neither have whitening properties.. They may remove superficial stains.
