Depends: Now or later may depend on what symptoms you are having, as well as the availability of an appointment. The holidays can be a busy time for dentists and oral surgeons when a lot of students are out for the holidays. If you have time off for the holidays, having them removed now may allow you more time for recovery.

Personal preference: You should have 2-4 days to recover. Often during the school 4 wisdom teeth are removed. Student back to school monday. Others prefer summer or during breaks. Personal preference. For best results, make sure a board certified oral & maxillofacial surgeon does your wisdom teeth surgery.

Wisdom teeth removal: The time needed to remove wisdom teeth will be a personal call by your dentist. Each dentist has their own scheduling for each procedure. An oral surgeon would also have his own time frame for scheduling. It will also depend on the difficulty of the extractions.

Usually: Between the ages of 16 and 22 but it might be later or not at all. The wisdom teeth might not have enough room to come in or occasionally they do not form at all.
