Depends: That depends on the extend of the crack. As long as we can cover the crack with a crown and still have favorable crown-root ratio then the tooth can be saved. If the crack extends all the way down the root then the tooth needs to be extracted. The crack will allow leakage and compromise the seal. Talk to your dentist or endodontist.

Get to Dentist: If the seal has been broken, the root canal treatment needs to be done over -- called a retreatment. Bacteria gets back in to the root of the tooth and reinfects it. Get seen to correct this ASAP. Good Luck.
