Not likely, but: It would be better to show it to the dentist who made you the retainer to ensure that the change in tooth contours due to the temporary does not interfere with the fit of the retainer. Leaving the retainer out for a day or two will not matter.

No it will not: Your retainer should still fit around the tooth and shouldn't cause any problems to or with the root canal tooth. I encourage you to continue to wear your retainer.

Check it: Try the retainer in carefully. If there's even the slightest resistance, take it out and call your Orthodontist immediately.
