Shouldn't: The materials orthodontists use to keep braces in place are plastics. As the plastic cures, and free monomers dissipate, the taste should disappear. The taste should have been gone before you left the orthodontist's office. Call the orthodontic specialist and report your problem. They will be able to help you.
