Collateral damage: During the wisdom tooth extraction (complicate) a lot of pressure is placed on the adjacent tissue: gums, chicks and neighbor teeth, TMJ and muscles. It creates the inflammation and consequently pain. The good news that in the majority cases the pain is transitory. If concerned, please call your oral surgeon/ dentist for post extraction consultation.
