Docs can you explain, is there anything that can be done for extremely sensitive teeth?

Yes: Yes, but you will first need to personally see a dentist for a clinical exam along with x-rays in order to determine the cause of the sensitivity. The cause(s) will dictate the treatment choices. From simple topical medications to root canal therapy, etc.
