Brush Well-No Stains: There is absolutely no reason that you should be concerned about stains on your teeth after your braces are removed--as long as you have excellent oral hygiene during your orthodontic treatment! most staining is extrinsic in nature, related to tea, coffee, etc. Those stains are easily removed. However, poor brushing can result in white spots that are permanent markings. Keep brushing!

Tips: Brush 2x/day 2 full minutes by the clock, w pea-sized portion of toothpaste. Brush in a pattern, don't skip around. Brush especially well in the corners of your mouth, and between the wires and the gum line. Ask your orthodontist for pointers, and ask to have your oral hygiene evaluated at each visit. Invest the time and effort and thou should be ok.

Hygiene: if you keep your teeth clean during treatment, you generally should not have a problem. I would not worry too much

Stains/Braces: The time to scared about stains when the braces are removed is at the beginning of treatment. As an orthodontic specialist, my office goes over foods/liquids to avoid/oral hygeine/brushing/flossing techniques to help avoid such stains. If you drink carbonated beverages and have poor oral hygiene, be scared. Otherwise, don't anticipate what may not be there.
