Flat feet sense: The product you are asking about is designed to help with mild pronation with a prefabricated sandal design. If you need treatment for pronation, you should see your podiatrist. This brand does help with mild cases of pronation by supporting the arch with a deeper heel cup. They are not custom orthotics but are useful for walking short distances.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.

Orthaheel: Yes. Better than other flip flops. Any support in the arch is better than none at all. Have your foot examined - if you have a very high arched foot the shoe or any shoe may not have enough support. A custom insert or orthotic may be needed to give you better support.
