Bipolar myth+reality: Quite a few people (or their girl or boy freinds) 'think' they have bipolar mood disorder bmd and say this 'i'm in a good mood one minute and the next bad' or mention temper flareups. Bmd is way more than this: longer, deeper more pervasive mood shifts over weeks and months, from weeks/months of depression (see my answer for depression) and weeks of too high, manic mood, activity, "hyper" levels.
