Reflux: If the opening into the stomach from the esophagus is loose then contents from the stomach can regurgitate ( burp) up and you will taste what is in there. Also if you swallow a lot of gas when you eat or even talk that has will bubble out. Some things like soda make gas. All of this can be called gastro esophageal reflux disease also know as gerd. Usually minor but can be serious. Check with md.
