Yes.: Cymbalta (duloxetine) is used for major depression especially when associated with chronic pain. The maximum dosage is 120 mg. It does help with anxiety when associated with depression with dosages as low as 30 mg. However it has very little effect for anxiety disorders ( generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorders).
