Reasonable combo: Cymbalta (duloxetine) is a SNRI for depression, anxiety and pain and Risperdal is a med that helps with agitation, paranoia. A low dose of Risperdal added to antidepressants can boost the antidepressant effects esp as it helps anxiety/agitation. Additional side effects are possible but can be monitored by prescriber. All patients on these meds should be regularly monitored.
