Use w/ caution: They can both cause sedation especially in high doses. If you are taking them both for pain conditions, let you dr. Know if you experience any side effects such as dizziness, fatigue, daytime drowsiness or unsteady gait.

Yes: This should be okay, there is no serious interaction although both medication exert a considerable amount of their effects in the central nervous system. They are also both sedating and so you will need to monitor for excessive sleepiness. They also both can cause a decrease in motor coordination and this particularly important with respect to the risk for falls. Stay safe!
