My 2 yr old recently had a wad of tissue paper in his r nostril, doc took it out but now he has greenish mucus coming out? is that normal?

Expected: It is not unusual and should resolve over the next few days. If you feel he is uncomfortable at any point you should consult your doctor.

Depends on variables: If the paper was up there for an extended period the kid may have a treatable acute rhinitis. Most of these kids smell like a combination of old socks and an outhouse from several feet away. If it was only up there a short time it will usually pass.(and they don't smell so bad).
