Otitis externa: First stop poking into your ear canals since it will only make things worse. Second see your doctor to get either an antifungal or antibiotic (with or without cortisone) drop to stop the infection. After the problem has been controlled, if you find water in your ear canals after showering or swimming, put a drop of rubbing alcohol to dry them up.
