If only: If it did, there wouldn't be any unwanted pregnancies! you don't have a thing to worry about. (more prolonged foreplay/less frequent sex might obviate the need for the lubricant too. Many couples trying to conceive try too hard.) good luck!

Vaginal lubricants: It's been found that even water-soluble vaginal lubricants can decrease sperm motility. Lubricants that won't affect motility is the commercial product called preseed and other more commonly found products such as mineral oil and canola oil. These have not found to affect sperm motility nor survival.
