A member asked:

What could chronic non diagnosed chest pain and uppeback pain. chest pain is center of chest slightly to the left. with "flareups" about 2-3x/month.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Costochondritis?: The location and timing suggest costochondritis, a rheumatologic pain syndrome most often affecting premenopausal women that is highly prevalent and not dangerous. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (like Ibuprofen or naproxen) can provide some relief but it may be incomplete in some people.
