Heel pain: Sounds like you are being treated for plantar fasciitis. If this is the case and you have not gotten relief you can expect to be given stretching exercises, night splint, orthotics, shoe inserts, laser therapy, change in shoes, placed on a weight loss program (if needed), physical therapy or surgery. Most people suffering from plantar fasciitis do not need surgery. Your local podiatrist can help.
