CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR: You are 65 and have been coughing and tried different cough meds without relief.We do not have information to advice you.We do not know if you smoke or if you have any underlying disease or if you are taking any medicines etc. Some meds for BP called ace inhibiters can cause cough, it can be due to bronchitis, asthma, COPD or underlyng diasese in the lungs like pneumonia or cancer so get it checked.
