Pinkie: Use ice to reduce the swelling, 4 times a day. Buddy tape her pinkie to the next toe. Take Ibuprofen for pain. Wear an open toed shoe to reduce pressure on the toe. It should take 6 weeks for your toe to heal..The discoloration or bleeding into the tissues may take longer to disappear.

Ice it: Take a antiinflammatory. An xray is helpful to rule out a dislocation and to determine if the fracture is intraarticular. Like anything else, you can try calling a few foot doctors and shop around for pricing. Oftentimes, doctors will charge a flat case fee and not charge a la carte.
