Post-op fatigue: One of the common reasons for people to feel fatigued after surgery is due to anemia. Depending on how much blood was lost during the surgery, you can have symptoms of anemia for several weeks before your bone marrow replenishes what you've lost. Other causes of fatigue could be related to meds, anesthesia, or more serious issues like blood clots. See your primary care doc for eval.

It depends: The cost of hysterectomy is dependent on which route it is performed, vaginal, abdominal, laparoscopic, or robotic. The length of hospital stay will also influence the overall cost. You should ask your doctor about the estimate before having it done. You should also remember that there are seprate charges for the surgeon, anesthesiologist, assistant surgeon, and the hospital or surgery center.

Also taking ovaries: The medical term total hysterectomy includes means the uterus and the cervix. The lay term "complete hysterectomy" usually refers to taking out the ovaries along with the uterus and does not indicate what you are doing with the cervix. Removing both ovaries will put you into menopause. Complete hysterectomies can be done robotically, laparotomy, laparoscopically and vaginally.
