What are treatment options for sleep apnea outside of using different masks with air at night?

None: The treatment is CPAP - (mask with continuous positive airway pressure). The only alternative is surgery on your pharynx.

Sleep apnea: A custom made dental device is a medically approved alternative to CPAP for treating mild to moderate apnea . Other things to consider: some people only snore if they sleep on their back, so try avoiding that. Losing weight. Can reduce pressure on the airways. See an ear nose ; throat specialist to evaluate your tonsils, adenoids and sinus.

Masks alternatives: There are many alternatives including: oral appliances, surgery, weight loss and changing certain habits (e.g. avoid alcohol or eating near bed time). See your PCP for consultation. Oral appliances may be an effective treatment option for you.
