Very: There are many different types of headaches, but the majority are either musculoskeletal or vascular in origin. The first type of headache is referred to as a tension type headache and usually secondary to degenerative changes in the upper cervical spine. Migraine headaches occur because of blood flow changes to specific cranial nerves in the brain. Treatments are very different.

Probably Migraine: The majority of headaches presenting to primary care providers are deemed to be migraine when reviewed by experience headache specialists. In other words, if its bad enough to seek medical care, its probably migraine. Migraine headaches are treated with specific treatment.
