Very: There are many different types of headaches, but the majority are either musculoskeletal or vascular in origin. The first type of headache is referred to as a tension type headache and usually secondary to degenerative changes in the upper cervical spine. Migraine headaches occur because of blood flow changes to specific cranial nerves in the brain. Treatments are very different.
