No usually: This may be from barotrauma due to change in altitude not unlikely what one often experiences with the plane descending. In most cases, it would resolve in less than 2 weeks. However you need to get something to decongest your nose but do not use otc decongestant spray for more than 5 days maximum. This may well hasten your recovery.
