Yes: There are many athletes who are diabetics. Just because you have diabetes doesn't mean you can't live a normal life. Work with your doctor to keep your diabetes under control.

Yes!!!: In fact, boxing is an excellent way to bring down your blood sugars, lose fat, and build muscle so that your blood sugars are easier to control! I would avoid heavy sparring because of potential for concussions, and wear headgear to avoid cuts (from accidental head buts) if you do decide to spar. Also wear boxing shoes instead of barefoot boxing if you are diabetic.
