See below: Itamelagin is not a med used in the us, so i'm not too familiar, but it appears to be a combination medication for trichamonas, yeast infection, and possibly bacterial vaginosis. If that's what you're being treated for, then use it as directed. It has not been proven to prevent preterm delivery.

Itamelagin: Itamelagin consists of metronidazole, Miconazole and lactobacillus. Those are given for infections. Seems you have a vaginal infection. They are not used to treat preterm labor. They are used for infection.
