Wrist splint: Wrist splints are available over the counter to rest your wrist joint and the tendons. Taking a long acting NSAID nlike alleve before you start the day at work can often stop the pain from starting. But probably best to see an orthopedic surgeon or hand specialist to diagnosis the cause and a more permanent solution.

U can try: U can try wearing a velcro wrist brace when not working, try taking a NSAID ( antiinflammatory)and using ice massage to the wrist after your writing or other activities. If this doesn't help i would encourage you to see your physician for evaluation. Best of luck!
