The dose it too low: Your dose is too low. Your psychiatrist started as a low dose trial to see how you would tolerate it. The dose will need to be increased. At the age of 17 i would not be surprised if you would need the equivalent of 50 to 60 mg a day. This of course would depend a lot on your body size and how you metabolize the drug. The psychiatrist I am sure will begin raising the dose at the next session. Best wishes.
