Depends: There are a number of factors that can lead to poor wound healing. What medications are you taking? How is your nutrition? Do you have any familial diseases that lead to wound issues?

Skin wounds: There are so many causes for poor wound healing and there are books written on it. Some of the most common causes are diabetes, malnutrition, age, vascular diseases, and chronic medications such as steroids. Consult your doc about that. There are more serious causes of poor would healing.
