If the pain comes : Back and lasts for four hours then you should go to the emergency room for evaluation. However, if it is mild and you have no blood in your stool then you can schedule an appointment with your family practitioner at your leisure and find out what the problem is. Given the fact that it appeared to respond to tylenol, (acetaminophen) i would suspect that it represents a pulled muscle. Best wishes enjoy the upcoming holidays.
