Hydration the Key: It is early, but this could be a gastrointestinal infection. Look out for diarrhoea. Pedialyte is a good choice. Do monitor the wet diapers to ensure hydration. Thjere are other causes for vomitting without diarrhoea. If he appears ill, i recommend he should be seen. High fever, irritability would be concerning.

Toddler vomiting: There are several causes for toddler vomiting. You did the right thing in giving the pedialyte and g2. Your child may have a virus or other illness, and should see his doctor today for evaluation. If he is lethargic (sleepy), having decreased urination, or refuses fluids, he might be dehydrated and may need IV fluids. In this case, a visit to the er is advised.
