Supposedly: 1989 survey of over one thousand arthritis patients revealed that foods most commonly believed to worsen arthritis were red meat, sugar, fats, salt, caffeine, and nightshade plants (e.g., tomatoes, eggplant). Improvement in few weeks by eliminating foods, reaons not known for sure.Possibilities could include collagen, which occurs naturally in meat, additives and infectious agents.
