A member asked:

Is there a big chance to get pregnant once you stopped taking pills?is it ok to stop even if i haven't finished the whole packet?thanks

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes and yes: The pill protects from pregnancy as long as you take them. Once you haven't taken an active pill for 7 days, there is a chance of pregnancy. It's ok to stop without finishing the whole packet. Usually you'll get a period a few days after stopping.
