May have TMJ: You may have TMJ disorder. This can cause pain in the temple and jaw, and would be more apparent with movement of the jaw. If it is not associated with movement, but instead a sharp, shooting pain from temple down to jaw, you may have trigeminal neuralgia. Most concerning would be temporal arteritis, but this would be rare in your age. See your physician for a physical exam, many options for each.
