RICE: Rest, ice, compression and elevation are the place to start. Once things settle down after a week or so, start working on ankle strengthening exercises. A lace up brace or similar may also be helpful to make you more comfortable.

Being : Evaluated by a doctor would be a good idea. Ice to the ankle, rest, compression, elevation and an ankle brace would be a good idea as well.
