Can you tell me how should the 'gum sockets' heal and look after tooth extraction?

After extraction, : After extraction, the socket will have some pooled blood clotting with the gingiva (gum) covering the area. In a day or two, you will see the clotted blood looking from red to darker, liver-like red, then the clot will look more yellowish to pale grayish in a few days. Meanwhile, the gums will rapidly grow over also. Some variations if you had sutured sockets. Post-op check recommended if unsure.
