Until removal: Keep it as clean as possible with proper brushing and flossing. If it is sore or swollen salt water rinses may help- (teaspoon salt in glass of warm water) - 3 to 4 times per day.

A few things: OTC pain meds. Keep clean. Saline rinse. May be infected. See dentist or oral surgeon for antibiotics
