Post Op Instructions: Follow the oral and\or written instructions of the dentist who treated you. Call if you are unsure. Generally 30-45 minutes and replace if necessary (more than very slight oozing).

Only one hour: After one hour the gauze should be removed. If bleeding persists new gauze should be placed. After the bleeding subsides completely you should stop using the gauze.
