No: Hydrogen peroxide 3% is not strong enough to do any real whitening.. If it was, there would be no need for the other whitening products or professionally applied gels. You may see a "slight" change in color, but probably not what you are looking for. You will need to use otc products or have it professionally done at your dentist for a better result.

Yes. Depends on type: Carbimide peroxide is an excellent form found in many whitening products.
