What's the chance of hiv transmission from using mouthwash?

Low: If you are concerned about sharing mouthwash with someone with hiv, it would be better to not share. If the mouth wash has alcohol, as most do, the risk of transmission is negligible. See this site for more info. http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/basics/transmission.html.

HIV is Hard to Get: There is no chance of getting HIV by using mouthwash. Hiv is transmitted by direct exposure from semen to blood or blood to blood among humans. It does not live in air or fluids such as water or mouthwash.
