DEPENDS-: On symptom severity. His neurologist definitely thought about it and discussed with the parents before prescribing. Clonidine and Intuniv has similarity of action with regards to symptom control. Both are alpha-blockers. If you are not comfortable or anxious, always can have a second opinion.
