Peroxide: Peroxide should not be used in the mouth unless it is in gel form or diluted with water. Using peroxide will not eliminate tooth and gum pain if the pain is from decay, tooth abcess, or periodontal (gum) disease. See your dentist for an examination, diagnosis and treatment. Untreated pain could lead to loss of teeth and more advanced infection.

Dentist: That won't solve the pain problem. OTC meds and dental appointment.
