A member asked:

Could coffee, chocolate, and peanut butter have anything in common?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Caffeine: Coffee and chocolate both contain caffeine. Pure peanut butter does not and I don't think it has any other significant ingredients that the other two contain except for fat content in both chocolate and peanut butter. I believe that people allergic to peanuts have no problem with coffee or chocolate but an allergist is better qualified to answer that.
